Mary Sullivan Dillon

Like so many others, the Sullivan clan emigrated from County Cork Ireland to escape from the poverty brought by the Great Hunger.

When her three brothers, Eugene, Dennis, and Daniel left for new lives in America, Mary Sullivan stayed home, married a man named Dillon and raised her family.

Daniel became a Priest and served in a parish in Syracuse, NY. Eugene and Dennis settled in Saratoga Springs.
