Robert Joki

Robert "Bob" Joki loved history and in particular, he loved the history of Saratoga Springs. Over a period of twenty-five years, he collected items from Saratoga's past, specializing in the collecting of 19th Century stereoviews. Many of the over 1400 images he had collected were featured in his book, Saratoga Lost.

When Bob passed away in 2013, the Friends of the Saratoga Springs Public Library purchased the collection from his estate. His family donated many of his papers surrounding the publication of the book to the Saratoga Room and the Library has recently purchased the non-stereo images associated with the book.
